Review: I think this is a decent solo movie in the MCU, right around the average rating, I really do enjoy Chris Evans as Captain America, but i don’t think he was given a ton to work with here. As for an introduction to the character and his close friends and allies i think the movie did a good job executing that concept. There isn’t anything overly flashy about this movie, Red Skull being portrayed by Hugo Weaving was a major win, but at the same time i wanted more from him. I always felt like i needed more from this movie and that isn’t a good thing. Luckily there is more to come from the MCU and this movie is a stepping stone to bigger things.
Recommendation: If you are a fan of the genre and Captain America i believe you should watch this movie. Chris Evans does his best to bring Captain America to life, he does a really good job in the role. And is more than enough reason to see this movie!
