Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Score: πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ€œπŸΌ

Main Characters: Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric

Supporting Characters: Roy Mustang, Scar, Winry, Louis Armstrong, Fuhrer Bradley,

Favorite Character: Edward Elric – I just constantly found myself connecting with Ed, his constant struggle and journey to help his brother regain his body. The “undersized” Ed always winning people over with his ability and quick thinking. He is also basically a prodigy when it comes to the ability to use alchemy. Overall he’s one of my favorite characters in Anime.

Synopsis: Two boys seek out answers to the taboo they created trying to bring their mother back from the grave. In the process nearly killing them both, now they set out to find the Philosophers Stone in an attempt to fix their bodies and become whole again. Along the way they will encounter many dangerous foes, while also meeting a few new friends during the journey.

Review: This is my favorite ANIME that I have watched to date, immediately I am drawn into the story of Ed and Al,their inner struggles and the adventure of getting their bodies back. I truly believe this anime has some of the best and most well done characters. You can’t help but even find things to like about the antagonists throughout the story. I also find the pacing of FMAB to be spot on, you never feel like it’s dragging or in the wrong gear for the moment at hand. Unlike some anime’s that have slow periods. FMAB also handles “romances” very well, it never feels forced between Ed and Winry and that is very refreshing in comparison to some relationships in anime. Overall it’s really hard for me to find any glaring weaknesses in this anime!

Pacing: I felt like this was paced very well, I never felt like the anime got bogged down or stuck on one thing too long. So i would give pacing an A.

Favorite Moment: I feel like there are so many moments to choose from, but my favorite moment that’s not the most obvious one is at Hughes funeral where Mustang and Hawkeye are talking and Roy says “It’s a terrible day for rain” and starts crying. This moment stood out for me and how difficult the death of Hughes was on Roy.

Recommendation: 100% would recommend to any fan of anime. This is amazing from start to finish. You will like this anime.

THANK YOU!
