Synopsis: A young girl is raised on the island of Themyscira, where Zeus created a warrior race of woman called the Amazonian’s. The young girls name was Diana, and she was being raised by Queen Hippolyta, she trained and taught Diana the ways of the Amazon. One day the island was mistakenly found by Chris Pine, who crash landed on the island and is saved by Diana. The island is soon attacked by the German army, where a battle ensues on the beach. After the Amazonian’s defeated the German army, Diana finally decides she must leave and help the world fight in the Great War!

Review: One of my favorite movies of 2017, I think Patty Jenkins did an amazing job bringing Wonder Woman to life in the DCU. She had a lot of help from her star Gal Gadot, who nailed the role and left me wanting more. With her co star Chris Pine, the two gelled on screen wonderfully. I thought the movie cinematography was beautiful. And the island of Themyscira is breathtaking, and beyond well done. I also thought the movie was really great up until the final battle against Ares, i found it poorly lit and just not well coordinated. Which was upsetting because the rest of the fight choreography was really solid and kicked major ass! I truly believe this was the best movie overall of the DCEU, snd Gal Gadot is a superstar.

Favorite Scene: The scene in the war, where no man can cross the “dead man zone” and Wonder Woman goes through it in one of the most badass scenes in the DC universe. That scene totally stole the show and cemented Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman!

Recommendation: I would highly recommend this movie. It is one of the strongest outings the DC Universe has. Gal Gadot is incredible as Wonder Woman. And Chris Pine plays a great supporting character as Steve Trevor.

Thank you!!
